A miserable sort of hour. Late enough to know perfectly well you should be awake, early enough to wonder if you might get away with going back to sleep ...

Afternoon. Better than working in the morning, when everyone's clambering for the caffeine to get them through the day and one barrista isn't enough for the job, or the evening when it's just sunk in with the students what it means to pull an all-nighter ... *wait, great idea* Coffee. Do you have coffee?
